My work related passion is the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. The last couple of years my experiences are in the electrical & instrumentation, detail engineering and construction and maintenance work preparations. During my career I have successfully completed several projects for ONEgas offshore (NAM) in corporation with several companies and disciplines. e.g. Flowline projects and Decomplex projects (L13C, K15A, K81). Afterwards I’m now working for Total E&P Nederland as Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The challenges that come with these jobs are most satisfying. Working with people and dealing with complex situations is what I like to do the most. Creating efficient work area’s for the team is my ultimate goal and in relation with Safety this will be very effective. Within this way of work I find this is a very interactive approach to add more overall value to the company I’m work for.

Together with electrical offshore personal the greatest challenge was to organize all the required needs for correctives and preventive maintenance work orders for over 24 offshore locations. Within Total has a high focus on Safety and very good spirit from the people to work with.     Stork - K81 Decomplex Project

    One of the largestes and complex ONEgas Decomplex Projects for NAM. 10 month of intense work preparation together with several companies and disciplines to accomplish a 48 day's of shutdown. Decomplexion is basicly by-passing the production process directly produce wetgas. Therefor instrumentation and DCS has been changed. At the end of this Project the Fire and Gas system has been changed out.

    Within the second fase of the K15A Decomplex Project we installed a new MCC and 3 containerized generators onto the platform. Complexity of this project was to transfer from the existing into the new power generation set within a 28 day's shutdown while running on a temporary power generator.

    E&I workpreparator for several modification projects on several NAM platforms. L13C Decomplex workprepation splitted into 13 modifications and workprepartion has been done in SAP Project module for project management. This was my first team Lead assignment for workprepartion E&I team. Decomplexion of L13-FC-1 platform where the complete process area has been by-passed for wetgas production and installed a completly new Yokogawa DCS system.

Our purpus was to provide temporary lighting for 24hr shifts.

    Apart from being a starter in web developer, I enjoy to be with friends and family. In other free time i'm most of my time being outdoors. During the warmer months relaxing on the beach of Katwijk aan Zee. I enjoy karting and suppen and also do activities with my little son. When forced indoors I like to do an Escape-room and when at home i watch movies and television shows or listen music, watch snooker or chess.
